Considering Marie's expertise, we talked about both the erosion of women's rights globally but also the signs of resilience and resistance, in terms of social movements demanding social change. We addressed the effects of the global pandemic on protests and mobilization while discussing Marie's piece "Imagining a distanced future: centering a politics of love in resistance and mobilisation.” She explained more “How should we think about building intimacy and solidarity across social and economic fissures when our very bodies are potential vectors for disease?"
