Styron Bond Jr. and his siblings thoroughly enjoyed life in their entrepreneurial household in Williamston North Carolina. However, during the summer of 1963, many children and teens of this eastern North Carolina town made sacrifices to participate in 32 consecutive days of direct action protest against segregation that included marches, boycotts, and sit ins. This podcast presents a personal journey conversation with Styron, a participant in the summer of 1963 protests.
