On this international episode of DMP, you'll meet Jonny's old officemate and very dear friend, Ryan. He's Canadian/American and delivers an authentic gift of Northern music from Canada's favorite rock band, The Tragically Hip. Although these guys are virtually unknown in the States, you'll probably wonder why as their music is accessible, fun, and often thought-provoking. Nothing to fear here; a couple of hockey references never hurt anyone, and the Hip's musical style is quite similar to well-known bands like Pearl Jam, U2, and the Black Crowes. Ryan caps off the show with yet another Canadian rock band for the encore. How will Jonny respond in the next episode? Come back in two weeks to find out!
