Moses’ faith, beginning as it did with his parents who by faith gained some inkling of the child’s destiny, (Moses’ faith) compelled him to forfeit the immediate for the future, the seen for the unseen, to choose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than enjoying the pleasures of sin for a moment. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt. Moses had faith in the God who would fulfil His purpose and His promises, and through Jesus God did just that.
