Self care is all the rage right? As moms we’re just told that motherhood is hard because we never have time to ourselves, we’re not taking enough bubble baths, we just need some time away from the pressures of motherhood.

While all those things can be great to pamper yourself, they don't help regulate your nervous system and holistically heal it from the root.

Today I'm going to share why more self care ISN'T actually the answer to your rising mom anxiety. Self care is not going to get to the root of your overstimulation and emotional dysregulation or help you address your mental health.

Instead, I’m going to dive into exactly what you can be doing instead to get OUT of that fight or flight mode, address that sensory overload, and stop feeling so triggered. Let's start calming your nervous system from the root for the long term–not just during that 30 min bath you get to take every 3 months.

So get your comfies on, set the kids up with a fun activity, and let’s go on how you can actually see changes as quickly as a few days from now!

blessings,

Rach
