Amy Wright connects on a call with Dropkick Murphys founder Ken Casey to learn about their new album, released September 30th via the band’s label Dummy Luck Music, This Machine Still Kills Fascists, in which they bring Woody Guthrie's lyrics to life.

This album is like nothing they’ve done before, and in 10 songs, they've harnessed all of their energy to show how powerful an acoustic album can be. Ken shares all about the making of the album, how it was inspired by Woody Guthrie's daughter Nora, and how the idea had been percolating for more than a decade as Nora curated a collection of her father's never-published lyrics. Ken’s an engaging speaker and we’re thrilled to have him on the line.
