In this episode, we hear from sociologist Max Besbris about two studies he did with colleagues from Washington University and Michigan State. The studies look at how the content of rental listings on websites like Craigslist might steer potential renters towards some neighborhoods and away from others in ways that break down by race and potentially maintain existing patterns of residential segregation.
