This is week three of my four-week series on Attachment Styles and things get more interesting as we review what it’s like to be with someone who is extremely independent and self-directed. That kinda sounds good, right? You decide. A person with Avoidant Attachment Style tendencies is also often uncomfortable with intimacy. They are afraid of commitment and very good at rationalizing avoiding intimacy. If you are friends with this person, you might hear them complain about feeling “crowded” or “suffocated” by their relationship.
