Stu believes that what truly sets him apart from other financial advisors is a combination of his education, experience, and unwavering commitment to his responsibilities. Stu is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designations. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Rochester in 1990 and worked in corporate banking until 2001. In 1996, Stu earned a Master of Business Administration Columbia Business School in New York. Prior to joining Raymond James in October 2020, Stu was affiliated with Morgan Stanley and with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.

Since September 2019, Stu has served on the board of Friends of the Children Central Oregon, a 501(c)(3) that provides professional K-12 mentorship to at-risk youth to break the cycle of generational poverty. He now serves as the board chair. Stu has three grown children. In April 2018, Stu and his wife, moved cross-country from the Princeton, New Jersey, area to join their son, in beautiful Bend, Oregon. In his free time, Stu enjoys travel, hiking, photography and playing bass and guitar.
