In this episode, I sat down with Chor Amor founder, Paul Williams, who is a small but mighty producer of flavoured single-origin chocolate. After being made redundant from his finance job in 2010 and having no luck finding a new role after sending out over a thousand CVs, he decided that he had to create his own job. Then during one sleepless night, he stumbled across an article about selling chocolate and this is where his idea was born. The company has thrived since starting out in Paul’s kitchen and is now a multi award winning manufacturer of “fiendishly good chocolate” which is ethically sourced. It’s a fascinating story and one that could be just the ticket to give you the extra motivation to get started on that new idea.
