There is a mostly forgotten and recently found story about the 2 little, brave girls, from their far way time in the deep, hot desert. A most desperate moment pressed in upon the girls, a thirst so primeval it meant death unquenched. The girls shook bravely before death, but they noticed the shaking came mostly from the cool, fine sand they had buried their burning, pink feet into. The warmth and life they brought had awakened an old and rusty snake, a snake of very old that taught them old and rusty things, like how brackish drips of water could be coxed from deep, dark and full shadows. The snake had grown so old it had forgotten how to be a predator.
