Dr. Temple Grandin is a professor at Colorado State University. She is a published author, a highly respected animal behaviorist, and an all-around highly respected and influential voice in the humane treatment of animals. DTP co-hosts, Brent and Mariano were lucky enough to speak with her. The topic of why the use of tools in dog training came up. Her latest book "Visual Thinking" was discussed briefly as well. More than anything, though, you can really feel Dr. Grandin's passion and level of insight into understanding how animals view the world as well as themselves.
