Trigger warning: financial abuse, emotional abuse, domestic violence, gender based violence
Today, Beth Marchant shares her journey of going from a young stay at home mother who was financially dependent on her partner to being financially abused by that same partner to now escaping from that situation. She bravely tells her story of how she was able to save enough to leave that environment with her children, and how she has gotten to the point where she is now thriving financially. Beth also shares tips on how to identify financial abuse, how to get out if you find yourself in this situation and how to get over the shame of being financially abused.
