IT'S been a bombshell week Down The Divisions as football tries to make a comeback.

While the BetFred Cup and Lowland League has kicked off, the start of the new West of Scotland League is still up in the air.

With no fans allowed in some clubs have pulled out and there might be no promotion or relegation for the ones who will try to play.

Last year’s juniors champions Auchinleck have said they won’t be there – so who better to have on this week than their legendary boss Tommy Sloan.

The man known as Tucker probably thought he’d seen it all across 40 years in the game. He’s won seven Scottish Junior Cups and seven league titles.

But the impact of the coronavirus crisis is a first. We’ll hear what he thinks of the current situation and just where it leaves the Talbot and lower league football in general.

Once we’ve got through that minefield we’ll take a look back at Tommy’s long and distinguished career, first as a player then as one of the best managers around.

It’s all here on Down The Divisions.
