- We launched Purely Simple EARLY!!
- Instead of March 17 we hit March 15 :-)
- Startup phase, the never ending ramp up of a product and idea, gets boring.
- Launching without an audience, or any known potential customers
- Now, we are in full-time marketing mode.
- All effort is in marketing strategy, sales techniques, and targeting our “target” customers
- DON’T DELAY!
- Case and point: Letters From Aaron
- Started in 1 hour
- Website, logo, website copy, backend system, etc
- Squarespace for the website and http://logo.squarespace.com
- Used my own email server
- Mailchimp for the email list
- Moonclerk for subscriptions
- The point: JUST DO IT
- Fear destroys more ideas than failure does.
- People are afraid of failure so much so that they talk themselves out of even trying their idea. DON’T DO THIS.
- Have your idea, make it, and try to sell it. You won’t know until you try.
