2011 Stanley Cup Champion with the Boston Bruins, Olympian and most recently Captain of the Tucson Roadrunners Steven Kampfer joins Drop the Mitts! Steven talks about his crazy run in Professional Hockey: playing College Hockey for the University of Michigan, the 2011 Stanley Cup season and insane celebration, his time in the KHL, and his role as a mentor and leader with the Tucson Roadrunners. In taking on that newer role Steven goes into detail what it was like and what it meant to him being able to mentor some of the Coyotes top prospects guys like Dylan Guenther and Josh Doan.

Steven goes into great depth and detail about his time in Boston for the 2011 Stanley Cup run as well as his second stint with the team for their run in 2019. What it was like getting the opportunity to play with players like Zdeno Chara, Patrice Bergeron, Shawn Thornton and Brad Marchand.

Steven talks about what it was like getting the call from John Vanbiesbrouck asking if he wanted to represent his country in the Olympics. From Meeting up with David Krejci for some cases of beer partying with Matty Ice.
