Good morning and welcome to Thursday from Joe Mathieu and GBH Radio’s Morning Edition crew. It’s opening day down at Fenway Park, which usually serves as an indicator that Spring is in full swing and Summer is right around the corner… but you might want to hold your horses after reading today’s forecast. It may be opening day, but rain and falling temperatures will make it a tough day to be outdoors. However bad weather on opening day never stopped Red Sox fans before, so we’re expecting a raucous 12% capacity and socially-distanced crowd down at Fenway.
