Have you ever felt like you couldn’t escape the narratives around you? Society’s stories can have you believing there’s no hope of seeing yourself or people seeing you differently. How would your life be different if you could see yourself the way God does? What would you believe that you could do? Mary Magdalene was not born into a society that would’ve held her in high esteem, and yet when the moment arose for her to be the first to proclaim the gospel she didn’t hesitate.
Eastown was created for you! It’s for people who want to explore faith without feeling judged in the process. It’s a place for the skeptic, those who have “tried church,” and those who aren’t even sure if there’s anything to believe in.
