Welcome back to Ecocked and Loaded the bi-weekly podcast that I haven’t updated in a month. To make it up for missing an update I’ve decided to double the length of this edition to a full hour! I know, it’s pretty great and you can thank me later.
On this edition of E&L, I return to the home of Davin Lengyel to talk about the state of web content creation, the small independent vs the big content creators, I ask for advice for someone who wants to start their own web-series and, most importantly, we find out the fate of my 8-Bit Wars Character WAN. You’ll learn about internet dating, online streaming radio and how Davin will finally wrap up Pure Pwnage, 8-Bit Wars, Space Janitors, Pro at Cooking, Windinggear and every other project he’s made or been involved in using a 10 second stop motion Lego video.
As a side, at one point near the end I mention that I listen to SomaFM and Davin remembers that he used to love listening to a shoutcast called The Groove Salad. After we recorded this podcast we confirmed that the two are actually one and the same! Which is crazy! So you now have to listen as well. The best news ever is that their incredibly trippy seasonal channel The Christmas Lounge is currently live and I can’t recommend it enough.
