The Navy allegedly conducted a top-secret, high-tech experiment in Philadelphia during World War II. The “Philadelphia Experiment” rendered the USS Eldridge naval ship invisible to enemy radar. Did otherworldly tests really take place? Did the ship teleport from one location to another at the flip of a switch? This is the story of the bizarre events that followed and a discussion of how it would all be possible.
Is the government covering up the truth about what happened? Sailors were reportedly fused with the ship’s bulkheads and walls when it rematerialized. Or, was the whole thing a hoax, simply to push books about UFOs and other strange, paranormal anomalies? If that were the case, though, then why did the man who originally blew the whistle, Carlos Miguel Allende, mysteriously disappear, never to be heard from again?
The man to whom Allende sent the letters exposing the Philadelphia Experiment, Morris Ketchum Jessup, was found dead 4 years later.
