Recorded on May 10, 2018 Brian Costello, owner of BTC2Learn LLC, is a Google Certified Innovator & Trainer in his 11th year of teaching in Southern New Jersey. His career started as an instructional aide before going on to teach Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grades. He now works as a middle school Digital Innovation Specialist in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Brian is the author of the highly acclaimed book The Teacher’s Journey and hosts a podcast by the same name. His innovation project, The Global Audience Project helps classes find, and be, authentic audiences for projects around the world .Brian is an avid writer, blogger, and social media user. He has also published two children’s chapter books: Will McGill and the Magic Hat and Will McGill and the Costume Calamity. He has also published for the NJEA Review, CUE Blog, and as a contributor to the Edumatch Maker Book and Fueled by Coffee and Love. Brian has had the opportunity to share his learning in the United States and Canada on topics including educational technology, leadership, communication, and professional development.
