Digital Promise’s Inclusive Cybersecurity Pathways Cohort has aimed to address inequities in training and readiness for students furthest from opportunity in ten communities across the country. Supported by IBM, each of these ten districts has built community-industry partnerships, participated in Inclusive Innovation to co-design their pathway, and implemented a high-quality cybersecurity curriculum that aligns to industry standard credentials. The learnings from this cohort support the theme of this year’s convening by showing concrete steps to building inclusive pathways for students to gain access to meaningful and lucrative careers.

This edWeb podcast focuses on sharing practical tools and examples of how to create an inclusive learning environment and strategic partnerships. The panelists share the Inclusive Innovation model and Paradigm Cyber Ventures curriculum to highlight insights into the implementation of equity-centered STEM pathways. The goal of this presentation is to:

  • Spread the equity-centered STEM pathways implementation process
  • Bridge the gap between schools, communities, and industry
  • Increase cybersecurity access and awareness
