From a racist incident at a park in Coquitlam to being the face of anti-Asian hate in Vancouver, Gina Chong embarked on a journey to make a difference in her community.

She started up the Asian Arts and Culture Society and pushed forward with planning a multicultural festival at the very same park, called the BC Dumpling Festival.

Gina advocates for anti-racism and promotes diversity and multiculturalism to ensure a safe community for her two daughters.
