Ian Johnston began his career in the car industry, working for Volkswagen Group in the UK. He joined Temporis Wind in 2011, a company focused on developing onshore wind farms. His role in the business involved identifying potential wind farm projects and overseeing their development and implementation. With his background in the car industry and newfound passion for renewable energy, Ian embarked on a journey to contribute to the sustainable and environmentally friendly energy sector, becoming CEO of Osprey Charging in 2018 and Founding Chairman of Charge UK in 2023, a trade body founded to unite charging networks and advocate for the quick deployment of charging infrastructure nationwide.
