1. In what ways are past and present Heresies/Heretics impacting the big “C” church today? How are they affecting our little “C” church?
2. Are there any areas that you struggle with about God, the Scriptures, or the Christian Faith? If so, how can you deal with them?
3. Consider the teachers you like to listen to. What is their motivation? Are they men of sincerity desiring to serve Christ? Or are they peddlers of God’s word who desire to make money?
4. What “hard teachings” in Scripture do you wish were different?
5. Is a preacher’s popularity a good sign, a warning sign, or no indication whatsoever? Why?
