In the 37th episode (and 2nd in English) we are honoured to talk to Claudia Salazar Jiménez (California Polytechnic University, Pomona), a renowned Peruvian writer and literary critic. Her critically acclaimed debut novel "Blood of the Dawn" was published originally in 2013 but this year its translation into Polish (by Tomasz Pindel) was published by Art Rage under the title "Krew o świcie". Our conversation revolves around the difficult social issues covered in Claudia's magnificent book: the Shining Path guerilla, the gender-based violence during the internal conflict in Peru as well as the current political turmoil in this South American country.
