Lewis Tompkins received a Doctorate of Humanities Degree from the Five Fold Ministry Theological University in 2012 recognizing her as a Humanitarian for the work that she has done to end drug and alcohol addiction and to relieve the suffering of families afflicted by the disease of addiction through her work with Mothers In Crisis, Inc. Dr. Tompkins founded Mothers In Crisis, Inc. (MIC) in 1991. MIC is a non-profit, organization comprised of women and men in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Through MIC she has impacted the lives of over ten thousands families. She also founded Turning Point International Church in 1998 where she currently serves as an Apostle and the Senior Pastor. In keeping with her humanitarian call, Dr. Tompkins has traveled throughout the nation and around the world to many countries including East, Central, and South Africa, Jamaica and Turkey, to help widows, orphans, and refugees. Dr. Tompkins recently founded the Turning Point International School of Ministry where she is the chancellor and lead instructor. She is also the published author of “Nimble Anointed Words Empower, N-AWE”, “What Is It? Defining, Finding, and Obtaining Your It”, “As Long As There Is Breath In Your Body, There Is Hope”, “Rare Anointing”, and “You Are Beautiful”. Dr. Tompkins is an entrepreneur who connects with others in order to strengthen and add value to individual and collective assignments and mandates for purpose and destiny to be revealed and fulfilled. This is accomplished through joint missions and partnerships, television, radio, and Internet collaborative initiatives. In addition Dr. Rosalind Y. L. Tompkins: Is an empowerment coach whose passion in life is to affect positive change and to see lives transformed. Is a Florida State University graduate who is known for her trademark saying, “As Long As There Is Breath In Your Body, There Is Hope”. Is a prophetic poet who speaks and recites poetry in ministry with power, compassion, and an award-winning smile. Is a blogger/columnist for the Tallahassee Democrat Newspaper. Dr. Rosalind Tompkins is the wife of Elder Richard Lester Kwame Lewis, the mother of Janar Holloway and Grandmother of Tayla and Mya Holloway. She is well known in the North Florida South Georgia region because of her work with families and communities in crisis.
