In this episode of his "Thinking Out Loud" series, Double D rolls clips from the popular Israeli late night show "Eretz Nehederet" or "It's a Wonderful Country." The skits depict cartoonish caricatures of pro-palestinian protestors on U.S. campuses, as well as suggesting that those who are calling for humanitarian aid are unwitting tools of a corrupt Hamas. Double analyzes the cynical orientalist tropes prevalent in the skits, and suggests that the skits are a clear window in to the psyche of Israeli settler-colonial society.
