Rabbi Stern was born in Melbourne Australia and has studied in Israel, USA, England, and Russia. He is married to Estee and they have five children.
When joining the community in 2007, Rabbi Stern, together with his wife Estee, took on the challenge of developing activities for the Johannesburg's Jewish Youth and Young Adults. Today his 'Young Jewish Joburg' activities are of the most popular in the city.
Rabbi Stern is a young dynamic rabbi who is in touch with the world of social media and sees it as a platform that enables him to communicate with his community.
