“When it comes to parenting, I like to judge my ability to throw a spiral based on their ability to catch it.”

It’s one thing to become successful. It’s another thing to raise up your kids to their own success. In many cases, the second one seems even harder.

Today, we have the chance to interview a 3rd generation entrepreneur in the early days of building his own vision. Daniel Keever founded Evergreen Financial Marketing, a firm specializing in financial advisors and RIAs.

Daniel’s entrepreneurial bent did not come about by accident. His dad (Ward Keever—episode 2!) is one of the most intentional parents we know when it comes to raising competent, creative kids who have launched their own businesses.

Today, Daniel represents a Gen 2 perspective we can glean from. He shares his experiences around the questions of:

  • How did your parents instill core values in you from an early age?
  • How did your family handle conflict through bumpy teenage years?
  • What lessons have you learned by being allowed to fail?
  • Were there any lessons that took a long time to sink in?

If you’re in the midst of trying to train up your kids to be hard-working, creative, and marked by integrity, today’s episode is for you. It’s time to Envizion More.
