R-R-R-R-REMIX (rap air horn)

This was the first regular episode of the podcast, but it fell into a chasm somewhere along the way and hasn't been in the RSS feed for a while now. I'm currently knee-deep in research for both the regular episode of Ephemera and the next SPLINTERNET (june/july respectively) and sorting out some technical difficulties related to a recent move, so I'm uploading a new and revised version of this episode, with some extra details that didn't make it in last time, and the right theme music, etc etc. I've also uploaded my original patreon "companion track" to the main feed as something new for my regular subscribers who've heard this one before. If you're a patron, I have a bunch more stuff coming down the pipes for you next week.

Ending music: the inimitable Alex Cameron's "Internet" from his 2016 album "Jumping the Shark".
