EDHA is versatile; it doesn’t focus on only one style of house music. It covers various sub-genres like soulful house, deep house, deep tech, nu disco and afro. It covers both international and local SA house music. There are 5 official mixtapes offered by EDHA, which is: 1. EDHA Sessions (Main Podcast): Two hours of soulful and deep house. It is divided into 2 parts (1 hour each part). First hour is strictly deep house and second hour is strictly soulful house. 2. Laid-back Sessions: One hour of relaxed/mellow deep house, tech, minimal and nu disco sounds. It consists of dark, deep and abstract house tunes and it is played at 110 BPM or less. 3. Local Sensational Sounds: Here we have one hour of sensational local SA house tunes, which is afro and soulful house. 4. Moment of Jazz: The name says it all, this is one hour of soulful jazzy house tunes. It’s all about jazz elements, saxophone, trumpet, piano, xylophone and guitar. 5. Ultimate Throwback: Back to the basics, this is one hour of deep and soulful classics. The purpose here is to remind house heads were it all started and to let new house heads know how was it in the beginning. Ultimate Throwback is a time machine and he who listens to it is a time traveller.
