How can we create a climate movement that truly represents all voices and perspectives? While the climate crisis affects social groups disproportionately, with vulnerable communities bearing the brunt of its worst consequences, decision-making processes have often excluded these communities, perpetuating a lack of representative democracy.

In this episode, we dive into the critical issue of climate justice and the urgent need for a truly inclusive and representative climate movement. Žofie Hobzíková from Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) tells the stories and experiences of incredible youth representatives from across the Balkans, Black Sea region, and Eastern Europe, breaks down the challenges they face and highlights remarkable projects already making a difference. Join us and discover how these activists harnessed the power of community-building and storytelling to participate in environmental decision-making processes.

Youth and Environment Europe is the largest independent European network of environmental youth organizations, uniting 42 member organizations from 25 countries. With a focus on addressing the climate and biodiversity crisis, YEE aims to raise awareness and build capacity among young individuals, enhance international cooperation and knowledge-sharing, and strengthen youth participation in environmental and climate decision-making processes.
