There is a side causing quite the stir amongst the juggernauts of the Bundesliga, after eight games little old Stuttgart are sitting in second place, just one point behind the much-lauded Bayer Leverkusen under the stewardship of Xabi Alonso.
To put this remarkable rise into perspective, Stuttgart only survived in the Bundesliga last season by the skin of their teeth via a relegation playoff.
But today, those troubles seem so far away, as at the weekend their 3-0 demolition away to Union Berlin singled their sixth Bundesliga win on the trot.
It is their best start in their history and one of the best starts to a season in the entire history of the Bundesliga.
