What do you get when you take animal carcasses and mix them with robotics while associating with many of the most notable and influential musicians of the early industrial music scene? Survival Research Laboratories. Think Burning Man with lots of tech people and industrial music gurus and without the over-commercialization. Think cyberpunk, Avant Garde artistry mixed with MIT. Think Terminator meets roadkill. Think of the classic 1990 post-apocalyptic sci-fi film "Hardware." And then think about how SRL is one of the most important and yet little known art organizations in the world! It's time for machines, music, & meat kind of in the order.
