Welcome back to Every Human, where we tell the stories of thriving creators, entrepreneurs and leaders, with the goal of educating and inspiring every human to create the life they want. In today's episode, we’re speaking with Libby Ediger, the CEO at Holberton School Tulsa, a project-based alternative to college for the next generation of software engineers. The school is one that teaches students to think and learn like the best programmers, helps students develop soft skills to get them noticed in interviews and throughout their careers, and has a curriculum developed to give students practical experience in developing real solutions.
Libby’s professional life is all about supporting entrepreneurs and builders through organizations like 36 Degrees North & Tulsa Creative Engine, investing directly in companies as an angel investor, and working on building venture backed startups like Quorum.
In this episode we touch on:
- Helping brands get connected to the workforce
- Advocating for more equitable systems and policy
- Building talent for future economies as a vehicle to family & community stability + wealth
