Aren’t you glad social distancing and masking up has ended? But do you still feel a bit lonely, like you’re missing the camaraderie and brotherhood of deep friendship? That’s common among most men. It’s true for leaders, who often feel deep loneliness and isolation, even if they mistakenly think they have hundreds of friends. What if you positively knew that something you really like was really really good for you? Would you get excited and intentional about choosing it? Deep friendship was the way of Jesus. He was intentional, consistent and authentic. He had three closest friends and changed the world through twelve of his friends. What can we learn from the way Jesus invested in his friendships? Friendship Jesus-style contrasts starkly with the watered-down friendship practiced by society. Let’s look at how we can form and enjoy deep friendship, Level 5 Friendship. Can you find the right guys? Can you get over the hurdles of trust, time and fear of looking bad? There’s clear hope and help as you start huddling consistently. Let’s look at the power of processing our lives in a huddle of friends and in huddling with Father God as we meet Him in His word.
