Coming from resurrection Sunday, we introduce what is called the gospel, or the gospel of salvation. Foundations are important, especially if you are a newly born Christian who has just been introduced to the body of Christ or if you are already a part of the body of Christ and just need a renewal of the word of God and what the gospel is about and what it is. Introducing the series to us is Sbonelo Dlamini, taking us through 'The Good News. He starts by sharing a quote with us by Rice Brooks that says: "The gospel is the good news that God became man in Jesus Christ. He lived the life we should have lived and died the death we should have died—in our place. Three days later He rose from the dead, proving that He is the Son of God and offering the gift of salvation to those who repent and believe in Him."
