Welcome to another season of the Line of Scrimmage podcast, where we dive into Florida State’s matchup with their upcoming opponent. Each week, we’ll preview what fans can expect to see from the team that lines up against the Seminoles.

Up first, it’s a season opening showdown across the pond. Florida State starts the 2024 season in Dublin, Ireland against the George Tech Yellow Jackets. To help our fans get to know the Yellow Jackets better, we sat down with Jack Purdy of our SBNation sister site, From the Rumble Seat.

The Jackets finished their 2023 season with a 7-6 record and a win in the Gasparilla Bowl. Georgia Tech’s program appears to be headed in a new direction under the leadership of head coach Brent Key. The Ramblin’ Wreck was able to hold onto several key players in the offseason and returns much of their offense. The defense is not as assured with several key spots being filled by new faces in Atlanta.
