Travis Cloyd, VR Director, VR Producer, and CEO of Observe Media discusses his experience as being the VR producer for Hannibal Pictures’ feature film Speed Kills starring John Travolta. Travis talks about the details of shooting cinematic VR, both the challenges, and some of the mind-blowing VR cuts they were able to achieve in Puerto Rico, leveraging drones, 360 cameras, speedboats on the ocean, and capturing in VR, one of the great actors of our time, John Travolta.
We also discuss the present state of the VR film industry and what the future may hold for full-feature VR films and more.
