Joy Stepper shares her mental health journey from childhood into adulthood. Joy recounts a childhood where her emotional challenges were often misdiagnosed leading to frustration and misunderstanding. As a teenager these frustrations intensified with misdiagnosis and medications.

Eventually Autism Spectrum Disorder was found to be the culprit.

With the right diagnosis, a loving family, and the help of specialized and qualified therapy, guidance and personal frameworks were provided for personal empowerment and longterm success.

Joy also discusses what parents and family members can do to better understand the mental health needs of a child.

With candor and humor Joy concludes by sharing her interests , and how she looks forward to her future.
