Hello there! Are you looking to get into HMOs but don’t know where to start?

You want the higher cashflow, but maybe you’re scared to spend all that money and end up with a beautifully designed HMO but struggle to fill the rooms?

Or maybe you’re not sure whether to invest in Article four areas or non Article Four areas?

Saj Hussain has been investing in property since 2007 and for the last 12 years has focussed much of his attention on HMOs.

Together with his team he now manages more than 500 rooms in and around Birmingham, so he knows what he’s talking about.

Saj talks us through the five biggest mistakes he sees HMO property investors make, which are:

1. Not understanding the tenants and their needs

2. Not getting the location right

3. Licencing

4. Planning permission

5. Management

During the show, we discuss:

· How to research and choose your investment area

· Primary, secondary, and tertiary locations within a market

· The importance of understanding the operating environment and local regulations

· The difference between Licensing and Planning

· Why Saj prefers Article 4 areas to Non-Article 4 areas

· How to maximise your chance of getting a satisfactory commercial valuation

· How to manipulate the planning system to add more bedrooms

· Importance of efficient property management and systemizing income generation

· The three most common traits in successful UK property investors

We typically work with time poor professionals get a good return on their money by investing with us. To schedule a call to discuss
