Are you learning French ? Are you looking for a good French podcast for learning ? Then I'm very proud to introduce a new French podcast - Expatlang's Understand Native French.

Spoken French is generally very different from standard French taught in schools and language classes. Native French speakers' grammar and pronunciation is slightly different and is generally pronounced at a faster pace. This can be misleading for French students who believe they don't have the right level to understand films and series. The truth is, we could consider that spoken French is a different language that has to be learnt separately.

This is the content of today's episode :

  • 00:00 - Introduction
  • 01:00 - Podcast presentation
  • 02:24 - Podcast content
  • 03:05 - How will the episodes be organised?
  • 03:35 - Who's this podcast for? 04:12 - How to work on the podcast ?
  • 05:44 - Where and when will it be available?
  • 6:14 - Conclusion:

The best way to benefit from French podcasts for learning French is to actively work on the recordings. I've thought about it and I've prepared the transcript and the translation of each episode of the podcast on my website.

And if you don't know how to start working on the best resources to learn French for free (because this new French podcast is 100% free^^) you can use this video I created. It contains a full guide on how to improve French listening skills. Click here to watch it.

Expatlang isn't only a podcast. It's also a website, a YouTube channel, a blog, an online school and tons of posts on various social networks (Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram).
