Jayson and Tom talk about purpose and perspective, how we cultivate a sense of mission, and the things that either get in our way or help us in the pursuit of those important ends. Jayson (MBA, MSF) is a former Marine Corps Captain and combat veteran with multiple overseas deployments. He holds multiple graduate degrees with honors and has worked as a college professor and business consultant.

Jayson has written a best-selling new book that explores what it means to be a warrior in the modern western world. After 5 years as a Captain in the United States Marines and multiple deployments, Jayson is very familiar with what it means to be a leader, what it means to overcome challenges, what it means to mentor and train a team, and what it means to engage in personal and professional development.

His book engages some of the most challenging topics in our modern world, including the modern “culture war” that has consumed so much attention in recent years. His goal is to teach individuals how to become warriors in their own lives, and how to effectively and honorably engage and overcome the opportunities and challenges that they face in life.

Readers / listeners learn why to pursue a life of courageous service, how to make your “yes” a yes and your “no” a no, what it means to embrace a life of strength and power, and why you must always confront adversaries with your face forward.
