On today's episode we have a special out of town guest, Mr. Mike Geer. Mike is the manager of the Arasas County Airport in Rockport, TX, as well as a veteran of the United States Airforce, and was the one of the key point people in Hurricane Harvey, and in the cleanup and rebuilding of the city after. He talks with me about how he got into a career in aviation and air traffic control, what it was like to be in the midst of a Category 4 hurricane. how he handled getting a visit from the Vice-President of the United States just a few days after the storm, and his feelings of love and appreciation for his fellow Texans as they came together to help the city of Rockport recover. Mike is a dear friend of mine and I'm so grateful he agreed to talk to me!
