In this episode, Scott and Erin discuss what we mean when we say that the Bible is God's Word, when we say that he inspired the writers of the text, and what we mean when we say that the Bible is without errors. We also discuss why we can trust that it is still God's Word even though it was edited some by the prophets in the Old Testament era. Scribal errors are explained and as well as ancient writing practices. Finally, we discuss how the Bible is translated and why it is important for new translations to consider the oldest manuscripts when determining the best readings.
