Today's Devotion is "What Were You Thinking?" (Day 14 in our series 40 Days of Easter Truth)

Our Easter Focus Passage today is: Matthew 27:3

Now, here's today's Easter Truth:

He was one of Jesus' twelve disciples, however, from his actions we know that he never really believed in Jesus as the other disciples did. It could be said that he was in it for the money; after all, he held the bag. Judas' offer to betray the Master for thirty pieces of silver likely looked appealing to him at the outset, but from this verse, we see that the end result of his choice was heart-wrenching and terrible.
