Manchester Inspirational Voices - known as MIV - is one of the most highly respected community choirs in Britain. They were winners of the Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year in 2016 and have sung in major venues in Britain and across Europe. Tickets have just gone on sale for their Christmas concert at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall on December 16th and it promises to be their biggest gig yet.

Their music is unashamed Gospel, voicing the good news of Jesus Christ, and many members of the choir see what they do as a Christian ministry.

The choir is led by Wayne Ellington, a singer and voice teacher in his own right, now known for his journey on The Voice on national television. Wayne also brings to the choir his own Christian faith and his desire to use the music of Gospel to share the message of the Gospel.

Faith in Manchester podcast is part of faithinmanchester.org, a web magazine and social media presence drawing together the work of Christian churches and ministries in the Greater Manchester region. The podcast is hosted by award-winning broadcaster Wayne Clarke.
