Manage episode 453960954 series 3530770
As a boy growing up on Chicago’s south side in the 1940s and 50s, Don Bell could have never foreseen his life journey. He witnessed the impact of racism and the power of the civil rights movement. During college, he accepted his sexual identity. Now, as a senior, he advocates for LGBTQ seniors and promotes intergenerational dialogue. Don now lives on Chicago’s north side and is a member of Lake View Presbyterian Church.
