Recently, I have been particularly intrigued by a phenomenon which has become almost cliché: the Good Girl vs. Bad Girl syndrome. In my country most girls were raised to be ‘good‘ and morally upright. But with time, ironically it sort of seems like, bad girls are winning and one would wonder why there ever was a need to be ‘good‘. The idea of being a good girl was deeply ingrained in us. You were most likely told that crossing your legs properly in public, learning to cook, getting good grades, avoiding boys, dressing decently, going to church (or other religious places), and etc. were what made one a good girl. For as long as I can remember, it always seems that ‘bad girls‘ in any stage of life seem to be doing better in comparison to the good ones. They learned how to socialize better and, in some cases they grasped sex education faster. "Today's podcast started abruptly, cos a heated discussion had ensued once the topic was introduced." We have Thelma standing in for the Good girl. Victa Pepple standing in for the guys and bad girls. We're joined very briefly by Khalid. The discussion basically took a life if it's own. Listen & Enjoy!
